RESOLUTION NO. R-36-03 <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />2 COLTON, CALIFORNIA TO RECEDE RESOLUTION NO. R-116-01, <br />3 TO ELIMINATE THE "PARK AND RIDE" TCM PROJECT <br />4 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); <br />5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton desires obtain additional grant funds for <br />6 congestion mitigation and transportation -related projects; and <br />7 WHEREAS, on October 6, 1981, the State of California, Department of <br />8 Transportation ("CalTrans") entered into a Local Agency -State Agreement for Federal <br />Aid ("Agreement"); and <br />9 <br />WHEREAS, on October 1, 2001, CalTrans forwarded a Program Supplemental <br />10 modifying the existing Agency -State Agreement; and <br />11 WHEREAS, the Agreement requires the City to clearly identify the specific <br />12 project outlined within the Program Supplement and identify an official authorized the <br />13 execute this agreement; <br />WHEREAS, City Council for the City of Colton hereby identifies the specific <br />14 project as the Park and Ride Facility incorporated on the 24-hour Public Access <br />15 Alternative Fueling Stations Site at the Sperry Drive exit off Interstate 10 or more <br />16 specifically described at north of Interstate 10, east of Sperry Drive and south of <br />17 Fairway Drive; <br />18 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY <br />19 RESOLVE the following: <br />20 1. The City Council hereby repeals Resolution No. R-116-01, and; <br />21 2. The City Council hereby eliminates the "Park and Ride", TCM Project, <br />Contract No. 00-097 from the Regional Capital Improvement List <br />22 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 201h DAY OF MAY, 2003. <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 ATTEST: DEIRDRE H.
