1 RESOLUTION NO. R-58-23 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> 2 APPROVING THE ANNUAL ANTICIPATED DBE PARTICIPATION LEVEL <br /> (AADPL) FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> 3 CITY MANAGER OR HIS/HER DESIGNEE TO SIGN THE DBE ANNUAL <br /> SUBMITTAL FORM ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> 4 <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton intends to apply for Federal-Aid projects related to <br /> transportation, streets, and roads; and <br /> 6 <br /> WHEREAS, to be eligible for such Federal-Aid projects, the Federal Highway <br /> 7 Administration and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) requires agencies to <br /> implement Caltrans' New Race-Conscious Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) <br /> 8 Program; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, Exhibit 9A (DBE Implementation Agreement), Exhibit 9B (DBE Annual <br /> Submittal Form) and Exhibit 9C (ADA Annual Certification Form) as attached on this resolution <br /> 10 are required Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Annual Submittal Forms provided by <br /> 11 Caltrans that meets their requirements and the City Council wishes to meet the requirements of <br /> the Federal and State authorities and promotes the inclusion of Disadvantaged Business <br /> 12 Enterprises in said projects; and <br /> 13 WHEREAS, the City Council approved the attached Exhibits as the City of Colton's <br /> Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Annual Submittal Form for Federal Fiscal Year <br /> 14 2023/2024. <br /> 15 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br /> HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 16 <br /> Section 1 The Recital preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br /> 17 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br /> 18 Section 2 The City Council City Council approves the Federal Fiscal Year 2023/2024 <br /> Annual Anticipated Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation Level (AADPL) and <br /> 19 authorizes the City Manager or his designee to sign the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise <br /> (DBE)Annual Submittal Forms for Federal Fiscal Year 2023/2024 on behalf of the City of Colton. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th P ° • • JUNE 2023. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 �iei1►11lkt c ">��_�1 <br /> 24 Mayo <br /> 25 ATTE • <br /> 2 <br /> 27 STEPHANIE M.
