1 RESOLUTION NO. R-64-23 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br /> THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET <br /> 3 <br /> WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety <br /> 4 and infrastructure; and <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br /> funding through the County of San Bernardino — Department of Community Development and <br /> 6 Housing (CDH); and <br /> 7 WHEREAS, the City of Colton received additional funding in the amount of$62,885.86 for <br /> 8 CDBG COLT-21-1-03K/0242 (Citywide Target Area Alley Replacement and Sidewalk Project); <br /> and <br /> 9 <br /> WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the 2023-2024 Fiscal Year budget is <br /> 10 required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br /> 11 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 12 <br /> Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are incorporated <br /> 13 into this Resolution by reference. <br /> 14 Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendments to the FY 2023-24 budget: <br /> 15 <br /> • Increase revenues by $62,885.86 in account number 215-5752-000; and, <br /> 16 <br /> • Increase appropriations in account number 215-2227-6920-3890-0000-000 by <br /> 17 $22,885.86; and, <br /> 18 • Increase appropriations in account number 215-2228-6920-3890-0000-000 by <br /> 19 $20,000.00; and, <br /> 20 • Increase appropriations in account number 215-2229-6920-3890-0000-000 by <br /> $20,000.00. <br /> 21 <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18T" DAY O 2023. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 4 • <br /> 24 * ' �A"R+ _ <br /> Ma+'�" <br /> 25 <br /> 26 ATTEST: <br /> 2 <br /> 28 STEPHANIE M.
