1 RESOLUTION NO. R-68-23 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> 3 ' BUDGET <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety <br /> and infrastructure; and <br /> 5 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, the Measure I and SB-1 Fund can be used to fund street improvement and <br /> rehabilitation projects; and <br /> 7 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Colton wants to reallocate leftover Measure I and SB-1 fund from <br /> 8 completed street improvement projects to the FY 22-23 Asphalt Paving Project; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, , the City of Colton wants to amend the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Capital <br /> Improvement Budget for the FY 22-23 Asphalt Paving Project; and <br /> 10 <br /> WHEREAS, a budget appropriation for approved activities, not listed in,the 2023-2024 <br /> 11 Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br /> 12 NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED,AND ORDERED BY THE CITY <br /> 13 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br /> 14 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br /> 15 Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year <br /> 2023/2024 budget: <br /> 16 <br /> 17 • Decrease appropriations in account no. 218-2219-6150-3890-0000-000 (La Cadena Dr. <br /> Paving Project from Iowa Ave. to SB 1-215 on ramp) by $4,390.00; <br /> 18 <br /> • Decrease appropriations in account no. 218-2220-6150-3890-0000-000 (La Cadena <br /> 19 Dr.-Northbound Paving Project from Litton Ave: to Tropica Rancho Ave.) by $2,085.00; <br /> 20 • Decrease appropriations in account no. 218-2224-6150-3890-0000-000 (Citywide <br /> Striping Project.) by $12,959.43; <br /> 21 <br /> 22 • Increase appropriations in account number 218-2308-6150-3890-0000-000 (FY22/23 <br /> Asphalt Paving Project—Rancho Ave.) by $19,434.43; <br /> 23 <br /> • Decrease appropriations in account no. 212-2005-6150-3890 (Riverside Ave. Paving <br /> 24 Project from M. Bustamante to Agua Mansa Rd.) by $79,573.16; <br /> 25 • Decrease appropriations in account no. 212-2008-6150-3890 (Fairway Dr. Paving <br /> 26 Project from Auto Center to Crossroad) by $13,864.27; <br /> 27 • Decrease appropriations in account no. 212-2009-6150-3890 (Meridian Ave. Paving <br /> Project from San Bernardino Ave. to Porfirio Elias) by $57,415.10; <br /> 28 <br />
