1 RESOLUTION NO. 3 095 <br /> 2 AMENDMENT TO CIVIL SERVICE RULES, RULE IX, <br /> 3 SECTION 8, AND RULE XI, SECTION 13, OF <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2240 AND AMENDMENTS THERETO. <br /> 4 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br /> 5 <br /> as follows: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 1 . That Rule IX, Section 8 of Resolution Nos . 2240 and <br /> 8 2895 be amended to read as follows: <br /> 9 Rule IX, Section 8 . Residence: Residence Requirement is <br /> 10 hereby deleted in accordance with Section 50083 of the State of California Code <br /> 11 which provides that no city or other local agency shall impose residence require- <br /> 12 <br /> ments on employees . <br /> 13 <br /> 2 . That Rule XI, Section 13 of Resolution No. 2240 be <br /> 14 <br /> amended to add the following wording: <br /> 1.5 <br /> 16 Rule XI, Section 13 .
