1 RESOLUTION NO. R-82-23 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR GRANT <br /> 3 FUNDS FOR THE COMMUNITY RESILIENCE CENTERS PROGRAM <br /> FROM THE CALIFORNIA STRATEGIC GROWTH COUNCIL AND <br /> 4 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF APPLICATION-RELATED <br /> DOCUMENTS BY THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") proposes to implement the Colton Zero Net <br /> 6 Energy Resilience Center Project; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Colton has the legal authority and is authorized to enter into <br /> 7 a funding agreement with the State of California and the California Strategic Growth <br /> 8 Council; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Colton has the legal authority and is authorized to enter into <br /> 9 a funding agreement with the State of California and the California Strategic Growth <br /> Council; and <br /> 10 WHEREAS, the City of Colton intends to apply for Project Implementation grant <br /> 11 funding from the California Strategic Growth Council's Community Resilience Centers (CRC) <br /> Program for the Colton City Service Zero Net Energy Resilience Center Project; <br /> 12 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE <br /> 13 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 14 SECTION 1. That the City of Colton City Manager or designee is hereby authorized <br /> 15 and directed to prepare and file an application for funding with the California Strategic <br /> Growth Council, and take such other actions as necessary or appropriate to obtain <br /> 16 grant funding. <br /> 17 SECTION 2. The City of Colton City Manager or designee is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute the funding agreement with the California Strategic Growth Council <br /> 18 and any amendments thereto. <br /> 19 SECTION 3. The City of Colton City Manager or designee is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to submit any required documents, invoices, and reports required to obtain <br /> 20 grant funding. <br /> 21 PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DA OF SE TEMBER 2023. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 .
