RESOLUTION NO. R-77-23 <br /> 1 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FY2023-24 <br /> 2 ADOPTED BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $270,000 FOR AN ADDITIONAL <br /> BATTALION CHIEF POSITION AND INCREASING REVENUES. FOR <br /> 3 REIMBURSEMENT FOR AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR <br /> AGREEMENT WITH CONFIRE AND AMENDING THE AUTHORIZED <br /> 4 POSITION LIST ADDING A FOURTH BATTALION CHIEF FROM <br /> 5 SEPTEMBER 16,2023 TO JUNE 30,2024 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, the Budget for Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, <br /> 2024 was approved and adopted by Resolution; and <br /> 7 WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br /> 8 City and applicable statues of the State; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, the re-allocation of appropriations between department activities may be <br /> made by the City Manager. Amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by approval <br /> 10 and Resolution of the City Council. <br /> 11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br /> HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 12 <br /> SECTION 1. Amend the adopted FY2023-24 budget increasing the revenue in General <br /> 13 Fund CONFIRE Contractor Agreement Account Number 100-5794-001 by $235,093. <br /> 14 SECTION 2.Amend the adopted FY2023-24 budget to increase appropriations in General <br /> Fund Fire Operations Salaries-Miscellaneous Account Number 100-6090-6091-1010-0000- <br /> 15 000 by$270,000 to fund the cost of an additional Battalion Chief. <br /> 16 SECTION 3.
