Individual Council Members addressed the following issues: Request for feasibility study, with County and City of Grand Terrace, for improvements on La Cadena Drive; problems with retention basin in District 1; inclusion of Council goals and request for agenda for February workshop; the Gas Company's street work in the City; second request for update on Scenic Drive, landscaping and fencing (CDBG projects); H Street alley paving; Senator Soto's meeting regarding the Alameda Corridor regarding trains and the creation of a committee; SANBAG's priority regarding intersections; and, the recommendation to petition legislators for funding. CONSENT CALENDAR for City Council and Colton Utility Authority: (1) Minutes - Approved Minutes for the City Council and Colton Utility Authority Regular Meeting held December 5, 2000 and the Minutes for the Adjourned Regular Meeting held December 18, 2000, on file in the City Clerk's Office. (2) Warrants - Approved Payroll Warrants #212648 to #213046, dated 12/12/00, totaling $509,228.98; Payroll Warrants #213072 to #213113, dated 12/19/00, totaling $51,617.29; Payroll Warrants #213116 to #213513, dated 12/26/00, totaling $502,854.70; Payable Warrants #39405 to #39581, dated 12/07/00, totaling $1,040,383.61; and, payable warrants #3952 to 39858, dated 12/13/00, totaling $1,188,948.67, on file in the Finance Department. (3) Agreement REMOVED UNTIL NEXT AGENDA: Consideration and Approval of a Sign Operations Program Agreement by and between the City of Colton and Inland Empire Giant RV Center, Inc. (4) Consolidation Salary - Approved and adopted a consolidated part-time salary resolution included increases for certain positions and consolidating other part-time positions, RESOLUTION NO. R-01-01. (5) Permit - Approved the request for use of Fleming Park and the band shell by the Colton Calvary Chapel for a concert to be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. on January 26, 2001. (6) CUA/Change Orders #7 and #8 - Approved Change Order #7, reducing the amount of retention held for Americon Contractors, Inc., for the Wastewater Treatment Plant's 4mg Expansion Project and approved Change Order #8 stopping future retentions being withheld for the remainder of the project. (7) CUA/Personnel/Utilities - Approved the job description and salary range for the position of Sewer Line Maintenance Supervisor and approved the request for recruitment and City Council Mins Jan 2, 2001
