RESOLUTION NO. R-90-23 1 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT 3 BUDGET 4 WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and, 5 WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety 6 and infrastructure; and, 7 WHEREAS, the HCF Fund accounts for monies received and expended from the County of San Bernardino for the Waste Disposal Agreement (WDA); and can be used for the Street 8 Improvement Project; and, 9 WHEREAS, the Host City Fee can be used to fund street improvement and rehabilitation projects such as asphalt paving/rehabilitation for South La Cadena Drive and F Street; and, 10 WHEREAS, the City of Colton wants to amend the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Capital 11 Improvement Budget for the FY 22-23 Asphalt Paving Project incorporating and providing funds for asphalt paving for South La Cadena Drive and F Street; and, 12 WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 budget is 13 required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. 14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON 15 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 16 Section 1 The above recitals are true and correct. 17 Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 budget: 18 • Appropriate $180,799.00 from reserve balance in Host City Fee Fund to capital 19 improvement account number 240-2461-6150-3890-0000-000 for the South La Cadena Drive and F Street Paving Project. 20 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 17th DAY OF OCT. = ' '023. 21 22 AlI �23 th.„.. ..�/.1 A'RO 24 Ma • 25 ATTEST: 26 27 ' EPHANIE M.
