RESOLUTION NO. R-97-23 <br /> 1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br /> 2 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE <br /> ADMINISTERING AGENCY-STATE AGREEMENT NO. 08-5065S21 AND THE <br /> 3 PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT NO. 00000A297 WITH CALTRANS <br /> FOR THE HSIP CYCLE 11 — CROSSWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - <br /> 4 HSIPSL-5065(033) <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety <br /> and infrastructure; and <br /> 6 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received a Highway Safety Improvement Program <br /> 7 (HSIP) Cycle 11 —Crosswalk Improvement Project- HSIPSL-5065(033); and <br /> 8 WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received authorization from Caltrans to proceed with <br /> the Preliminary Engineering for the HSIP Cycle 11 —Crosswalk Improvement Project-HSIPSL- <br /> 9 5065(033); and <br /> to WHEREAS, the State requires that the Administering Agency-State Agreement No. 08- <br /> 11 5065S21 and Program Supplement Agreement No. 00000A297 be fully executed by the City <br /> and the State before any invoices for reimbursement can be processed; and <br /> 12 <br /> WHEREAS, the State requires that the City adopt and attach a resolution identifying the <br /> 13 Project and the official authorized to execute the Administering Agency-State Agreement No. <br /> 08-5065S21 and Program Supplement Agreement No. 00000A297. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED,AND ORDERED BY THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 16 Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br /> 17 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br /> 18 Section 2 The City Council of the City of Colton does hereby authorize the City Manager <br /> or his designee to execute Administering Agency-State Agreement No. 08-5065S21 and <br /> 19 Program Supplement Agreement No. 00000A297 for the HSIP Cycle 11 — Crosswalk <br /> Improvement Project- HSIPSL-5065(033). <br /> 20 <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF • = R 2023. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 ��i���_ I <br /> 24 ay. <br /> �ARRO - <br /> 25 ATTEST: <br /> 26 <br /> 27 . <br /> STEP ANIE M.
