RESOLUTION NO. R-92-23 <br /> 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> 3 APPROVING THE PRICE LIST FOR SERVICES PROVIDED AT HERMOSA <br /> 4 GARDENS CEMETERY <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the City of Colton owns Hermosa Cemetery, "a municipal cemetery <br /> located at 900 North Meridian Avenue; and <br /> 6 <br /> 7 WHEREAS, Effective October 1, 2023, the City has retained management and <br /> management and operations at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery and it is necessary to establish a <br /> 8 Price List for services provided at the Cemetery; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, Establishing a fair and transparent pricing structure for cemetery <br /> 10 services is essential for maintaining the cemetery's financial health and ensuring that it continues <br /> to serve the community effectively. By considering local market trends, cost recovery, and the <br /> 11 community's needs,the cemetery can strike a balance between quality service and affordability; <br /> and <br /> 12 <br /> 13 WHEREAS, a properly noticed public hearing was held on November 21, 2023 to <br /> receive public comments on the proposed changes to the fees and services. <br /> 14 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br /> 15 HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 16 <br /> SECTION 1: Adoption of Fees and Charges. The fees and charges set forth in <br /> 17 Exhibit"A"attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference shall take effect and be in force <br /> according to law. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 SECTION 2: Effective Date of Resolution.
