1 ORDINANCE NO. 0-12-23 <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING SECTIONS <br /> 3 WITHIN CHAPTER 2.60 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> RELATING TO THE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br /> 4 <br /> 5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> 6 FOLLOWS: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 SECTION 1: Section 2.60.030 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby deleted and its <br /> 9 entirety and restated to be read as follows: <br /> 10 <br /> 11 "Section 2.60.030—Meetings <br /> 12 The Colton Board of Library Trustees shall regularly meet at 12:00 p.m.the fourth Tuesday <br /> 13 <br /> of the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November, at the Main <br /> 14 <br /> Library, or at such other location as designated and properly noticed within the City of <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Colton. The Library Board also hold special meetings, pursuant to applicable state law, <br /> 17 whenever necessary <br /> 18 <br /> 19 SECTION 2: Section 2.60.035 of the Colton Municipal Code is established to be read as <br /> 20 follows: <br /> 21 <br /> 22 "Section 2.60.035-President <br /> 23 <br /> The Board of Library Trustees Shall appoint one of their number president,who Shall serve <br /> 24 <br /> for one year and until his successor is appointed,and in his presence Shall select a president <br /> 25 <br /> 26 pro tem. <br /> 27 SECTION 6: Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days <br /> 28 after its passage. <br />
