Staff Report re Agua Mansa EZ Extension <br />Date: April 3, 2001 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Trade and Commerce requires all jurisdictions that are part of the Zone to approve a <br />resolution requesting the five-year extension, which is to be included as part of the <br />application submittal process. However, the resolutions were inadvertently omitted. Trade <br />and Commerce is allowing each jurisdiction to submit its resolution, provided it is received <br />prior to April 13, 2001. Failure to submit the resolution will disqualify the jurisdiction from <br />receiving the five-year extension. <br />Financial Impact <br />The incentives offered to businesses located within the Agua Mansa Enterprise Zone have <br />been beneficial in the recruitment of businesses.
