1 RESOLUTION NO. 2448 2 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL CITY OWNED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF COLTON 3 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, County of San 4 Bernardino, State of California has found and determined that a portion of City 5 owned property as hereinafter described is not required for public use; 6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 7 City of Colton, County of San Bernardino as follows: 8 1. That it is the intention of the City Council at its regular meeting 9 to be held at 7:30 on the 21st day of April, 1964, in its Council Chambers in 10 the Civic Center located at 650 North 8th Street, to sell, to the highest bidder 11 that certain property hereinafter described, under the terms and conditions 12 set forth herein, to wit: 13 14 That portion of the North 200 feet of Lot 1, Block 66, Rancho San Bernardino as shown on a plat recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 12, Records of said County, 15 said portion being bounded on the West by a line parallel to and 20 feet East of the West line of said Lot 1 and on 16 the East by the Westerly right of way line of the A. T. and S.F. Railroad Company's 100 foot right of way. 17 Together with all improvements situate thereon. 18 All easements for public utilities of the City of Colton now located 19 on and all present easements shall remain in full force and effect. 20 2. Sealed bids must be filed in the office of the City Clerk of the 21 22 City of Colton, State of California, located in the Civic Center at 650 North 23 8th Street, Colton, California prior to 7:30 p.m. on the 21st day of April,1964, which is the day set for public meeting of said City Council to receive and 24 consider said bids„ 25 3, That Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 3, Division 3, 26 Title 4 of the Government Code of the State of California any person or persons 27 desiring to protest the sale of said property may appear before the City Council 28 why said sale shall not be made in accordance with the provisions of this 29 Re solution, 30 31 4, At the aforesaid time and place of said sale oral bids will be heard and considered by the legislative body of said City; provided however, the first 32 oral bid shall exceed the highest sealed bid at least 5%.
