1 RESOLUTION NO. 2454 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE <br /> 3 FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br /> HELD IN SAID CITY OF COLTON ON THE 14th <br /> 4 DAY OF APRIL, 1964, DECLARING THE RESULT <br /> THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE <br /> 5 PROVIDED BY LAW, <br /> 6 WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election was held and conducted <br /> 7 in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, on Tues- <br /> 8 day, the 14th day of April, 1964, as required by law; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly given in time, <br /> 1 <br /> 101 form and manner as provided by law; that voting precincts were properly <br /> 11 established; that election officers were appointed and that in all respects said <br /> 12 election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat, received and can- <br /> 13 vassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as re- <br /> 14 quired by the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California for the <br /> 15 holding of elections in general law cities; and <br /> 16 WHEREAS, on the 21st day of April, 1964, at the hour of 7:30 p.m„ <br /> 17 the City Council duly assembled at its usual place of meeting and has canvassed <br /> 18 the returns of said election and as a result of which, the City Council finds that <br /> 19 ' the number of votes cast and the names of the persons voted for, the office <br /> 20 each person was voted for, and other matters required by law to be as stated <br /> 21 hereinafter; <br /> 22 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br /> 23 CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 24 SECTION 1. That there were 14 voting precincts established for the <br /> 25 ' purpose of holding said election consisting of consolidations of the regular <br /> 26 election precincts in the City of Colton as established for the holding of state <br /> 27 and county elections„ <br /> 28 SECTION 2. That said regular general municipal election was held for <br /> 29 the purpose of electing the following officers of said City as required by the <br /> 30 laws relating to general law cities in the State of California, to wit: <br /> 31 Three (3) Members of the City Council of said City for the <br /> full term of four years; <br /> 32 <br />
