1 RESOLUTION NO. 2454 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE 3 FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY OF COLTON ON THE 14th 4 DAY OF APRIL, 1964, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE 5 PROVIDED BY LAW, 6 WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election was held and conducted 7 in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, on Tues- 8 day, the 14th day of April, 1964, as required by law; and 9 WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly given in time, 1 101 form and manner as provided by law; that voting precincts were properly 11 established; that election officers were appointed and that in all respects said 12 election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat, received and can- 13 vassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as re- 14 quired by the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California for the 15 holding of elections in general law cities; and 16 WHEREAS, on the 21st day of April, 1964, at the hour of 7:30 p.m„ 17 the City Council duly assembled at its usual place of meeting and has canvassed 18 the returns of said election and as a result of which, the City Council finds that 19 ' the number of votes cast and the names of the persons voted for, the office 20 each person was voted for, and other matters required by law to be as stated 21 hereinafter; 22 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, 23 CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 24 SECTION 1. That there were 14 voting precincts established for the 25 ' purpose of holding said election consisting of consolidations of the regular 26 election precincts in the City of Colton as established for the holding of state 27 and county elections„ 28 SECTION 2. That said regular general municipal election was held for 29 the purpose of electing the following officers of said City as required by the 30 laws relating to general law cities in the State of California, to wit: 31 Three (3) Members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four years; 32
