11 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2478 2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED 3 'YEAST COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 21" TO THE CITY OF COLTON 4 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: 6 WHEREAS, on the 19th day of May, 1964 the Council did pass and adopt 7 Resolution No. 2467 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited 8 territory to the City of Colton. Said territory being therein designated as g "East Colton Annexation No. 21" to the City of Colton said Resolution describ- 10 ing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and 11 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2467 did contain a notice of the day, 12 hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests 13 made by owners of property within the City of Colton but not within the territory 14 to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not more than 30 days after 15 passage of the resolution (Section 35310.1 G, C. ) ; and 161 WHEREAS on the 16th day of June, 1964 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in 17 the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located at 650 North Eighth Street, 18 in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, said time 19 and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2467 for 20 hearing protests to said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass on 21 all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that suffi^ient 22 protests have not been made by the owners of property within the City who do 23 not own property in the territory proposed to be annexed, and 24 WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton and is 25 uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; 26 NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Colton does hereby 27 approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of 28 Colton and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby 29 annexed to the City of Colton, 30 That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Colton is 31 hereby approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Bernardino, 32 State of California, more particularly described as follows:
