RESOLUTION NO. 2477 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN SANITARY SEWER WORK AND ORDERING POSTING AND PUELICATION OF NOTICES INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OR BIDS. (Assessment District No. 552 } WHEREAS, this City Council, on the 19thday of May , 614 , adopted its Resolution No. 246 , declaring its intention to order certain sanitary sewer work to be done or improvement to be made under and pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2468 was duly published and notices of the passage thereof were duly posted and mailed, and affidavits of publication, posting and mailing have been duly .filed; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2b6( , a hearing was duly held by this City Council at which all written protests or objections, if any, were duly presented and read and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard, and this City Council gave all persons present an opportunity to be heard in respect of any matter relating to the work proposed in said Resolution No. 21468 or the boundaries of the assessment district de- scribed therein, or in any way relating to the proceedings proposed by said Resolution No. 2468 ; and WHEREAS, all such persons desiring to be heard have beer heard by this City Council; and WHEREAS, protests have not been made by the owners of more than one-half of the area of the property to be assessed for the work or improvement, and all protests and objections have been overruled and denied by this City Council, and this City Council has acquired jurisdiction to order the work described in said Resolution No. 2468 ; -1-
