RESOLUTION NO. 2477 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br /> CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN SANITARY <br /> SEWER WORK AND ORDERING POSTING AND PUELICATION OF NOTICES <br /> INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OR BIDS. <br /> (Assessment District No. 552 } <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council, on the 19thday of May , 614 , adopted <br /> its Resolution No. 246 , declaring its intention to order certain sanitary <br /> sewer work to be done or improvement to be made under and pursuant to the <br /> Improvement Act of 1911, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of <br /> the State of California; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2468 was duly published and notices of the <br /> passage thereof were duly posted and mailed, and affidavits of publication, <br /> posting and mailing have been duly .filed; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2b6( , a <br /> hearing was duly held by this City Council at which all written protests or <br /> objections, if any, were duly presented and read and all persons desiring to <br /> be heard thereon were heard, and this City Council gave all persons present an <br /> opportunity to be heard in respect of any matter relating to the work proposed <br /> in said Resolution No. 21468 or the boundaries of the assessment district de- <br /> scribed therein, or in any way relating to the proceedings proposed by said <br /> Resolution No. 2468 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, all such persons desiring to be heard have beer heard by this <br /> City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, protests have not been made by the owners of more than one-half <br /> of the area of the property to be assessed for the work or improvement, and all <br /> protests and objections have been overruled and denied by this City Council, <br /> and this City Council has acquired jurisdiction to order the work described <br /> in said Resolution No. 2468 ; <br /> -1- <br />
