Class Title Hourly Rate <br /> Plunge Employees: <br /> Cashier 1, 40 <br /> Head Attendant 1. 25 <br /> Head Maintenance 1. 65 <br /> Instructor 1. 55 <br /> Eel Instructor's Aide 1. 25 <br /> 00 Lifeguard 1. 55 1. 65 1. 75 1. 85 1. 95 <br /> W Locker Attendant 1. 10 <br /> A Maintenance Man 1. 25 <br /> Pool Manager 2. 50 2. 65 2. 75 2. 85 2.95 <br /> VStudy Supervisor 2. 50 <br /> Personnel serving in an assigned acting capacity as Department or Activity Head <br /> shall be compensated at their regular assigned classification rate plus the equivalent of <br /> a 2 step increase during the period so served. <br /> Personnel serving in an assigned acting capacity in a classification other than <br /> Department or Activity Head and for a period exceeding 30 calendar days,shall be <br /> compensated at their regular assigned classification rate plus the equivalent of 1 step <br /> increase or the first step of the classification in which he or she is serving in an acting <br /> capacity, whichever is higher. This advanced rate shall start at the 31st calendar day <br /> and continue thereafter as long as service i s continuous in the acting classification. <br /> ADMINISTRATION OF THE PAY PLAN <br /> After adoption and initial installation, the five steps of the salary range should <br /> be interpreted and applied as follows: <br /> 1. The first step is the minimum rate and should normally be the hiring rate <br /> for the class. In cases where it is difficult to locate qualified personnel, or if a per- <br /> son of unusual qualifications is engaged, the City Manager should be authorized to hire <br /> at the second or third step. <br /> -4- <br />
