• <br /> 1 iI RESOLUTION NO. 2548 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF COLTON REQUESTING THE BOARD OF <br /> 3 SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNAR- <br /> DINO TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF <br /> 4 SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES <br /> TO THE CITY OF COLTON RELATING TO THE <br /> 5 CONDUCT OF A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD <br /> IN SAID CITY ON MAY 4, 1965. <br /> 6 <br /> WHEREAS, a Special. Election is to be held in the City of Colton on <br /> 7 <br /> May 4, 1965 and <br /> 8 <br /> WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation <br /> 9 <br /> thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place inserts <br /> 10 <br /> to the registered voters of the City and it will facilitate such mailing if the <br /> 11 <br /> Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino will prepare and furnish <br /> 12 <br /> the City the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters <br /> 13 <br /> of laid city on I.B.M. polling place inserts furnished by the City and after <br /> 14 <br /> bursting the forms, to insert the polling place insert, measure argument and <br /> 15 <br /> sample ballot into envelopes all to be furnished by the City; and <br /> 16 <br /> WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be <br /> 17 <br /> paid by the City of Colton; <br /> 18 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby <br /> 19 <br /> RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the <br /> Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests <br /> 22 <br /> 23 the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the Registrar of Voters to <br /> prepare and furnish to said City, for use in conducting said election to be held <br /> 24 <br /> May 4, 1965, the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voter - <br /> 25 <br /> of said City on I.B.M. polling place inserts furnished by the City and after <br /> 26 <br /> 27 bursting the forms, to insert the polling place insert, measure argument and <br /> 28 sample ballots into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City. <br /> 29 Section 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for services <br /> performed when the work is completed and upon presentation to the City of a <br /> 30 <br /> 31 properly approved bill. <br /> 32 <br />
