1 RESOLUTION NO. 2544 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN <br /> 3 OF ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT <br /> FOR A CITY MEASURE <br /> 4 <br /> WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the City of <br /> 5 <br /> Colton on May 4, 1965, at which there will be submitted to the qualified <br /> 6 <br /> electors of said City the following city measure: <br /> 7 <br /> PROPOSITION: Shall the City of Colton sell and r r t <br /> 8 dispose of that certain public utility owned by it, I YES s i <br /> to wit: Its system for the transmission and dis- r t <br /> 9 tribution of electricity together with all appurten- p NO 1 ' <br /> ances thereto. t t t <br /> 10 <br /> NOW,. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton, California, <br /> 11 <br /> DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: <br /> 12 <br /> SECTION 1„ That this City Council, being the legislative body of the <br /> 13 <br /> City of Colton, hereby authorizes Mayor J. M.
