R-11-24 <br /> 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ACCEPTING <br /> 3 A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF$1,025,000 FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT <br /> OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WITH ITS ACCOMPANYING <br /> 4 MOU AND AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br /> 6 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024 was approved and adopted: and <br /> 7 WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br /> 8 <br /> the Cit of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, On December 19, 2023 the Manufactured Housing Opportunity & <br /> Revitalization (MORE) Grant was awarded to the City of Colton Economic Development <br /> 10 Department in the amount of$1,025,000; and <br /> 11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> 12 DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 13 Section 1. Approval of Resolution 11-24 will: <br /> 14 1. Amend FY 2023-24 Budget to increase revenues in Misc. Grant Fund Revenue <br /> 15 Account#225-5854-000 by $1,025,000 <br /> 2. Amend FY 2023-24 Budget to increase revenues in Misc. Grant Expenditure Account <br /> 16 #225-6020-6241-2400-0000-000 by $1,025,000 <br /> 17 Section 2.
