Echevarria, MPT <br /> Council Members Absent <br /> None <br /> CEREMONIAL MATTERS <br /> Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br /> • Recognition-Newly Appointed Deputy Fire Chief Ray Bruno <br /> Fire Chief Timothy McHargue introduced Deputy Fire Chief Ray Bruno to Council for recognition for his <br /> outstanding dedication to the Colton Fire Department, and for being selected as the final candidate to be <br /> given the position of"Deputy Fire Chief." Chief McHargue gave a brief history of Deputy Fire Chief <br /> Bruno's impressive and inspiring journey, and described the many accolades and accomplishments that have <br /> marked him for obvious recognition. Deputy Fire Chief Ray Bruno accepted the recognition and expressed <br /> his gratitude for the many opportunities he received from the Fire Chief, as well as from the City of Colton. <br /> • Presentation- San Bernardino Community College District <br /> San Bernardino Community College District Chancellor, Diana Z. Rodriguez, gave a Power Point <br /> presentation which included a video to share how the San Bernardino Community College District is <br /> benefiting the Inland Empire. <br /> • Proclamation-Deacon Mark Martinez <br /> MPT Echevarria read a Proclamation Certificate recognizing Deacon Mark Martinez for his life time <br /> achievements in dedication and service to the County as well as the Community; accepted by Deacon Mark <br /> Martinez <br /> February 20,2024 Regular City Council Meeting 2- <br />
