POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY <br /> 16, 2024. <br /> GIFT DISCLOSURES <br /> Mayor Navarro asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest <br /> pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030.None disclosed. <br /> AB 1234 ORAL REPORTS <br /> Mayor Navarro asked the members present if there were any brief reports on meetings attended at the expense <br /> of the City. (GC Section 53232.3(d). <br /> Council Member Chastain attended the Cal Cities Inland Empire Division Election & Holiday Reception on <br /> December 07, 2023 held in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> • Mayor Pro Tempore Appointment- Mayor Pro Tempore Appointment <br /> Mayor Navarro nominated CM Echevarria as Mayor Pro Tempore. <br /> Motion/Second by Mayor Navarra/MPT Toro to appoint CM Echevarria as Mayor Pro Tempore for a <br /> term of one year; consensus by Councilmembers present; no objections, so ratified. <br /> • Appointment- Reche Canyon Traffic Ad- Hoc Committee - Jacqueline Maypray-Fitch <br /> CM Echevarria submitted the name of Jacqueline Maypray for appointment to the Reche Canyon Ad <br /> Hoc Committee; consensus by Councilmembers present; no objections, so ratified. <br /> MAYOR AND COUNCIL DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> CM Gonzalez requested Council consensus to direct staff to reinstating the language necessary in the <br /> Municipal Code that would allow for Youth Commissioners to be allowed to participate in Boards and <br /> Commission meetings. <br /> CM Chastain and MPT Echevarria asked follow up questions and City Manager William Smith provided <br /> clarification. <br /> Consensus reached by Councilmembers to bring item back for Council Vote; no objections. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> (1) User Fee Update-Police/ Administration, Planning, Public Works/ Engineering, Electric Utility/ <br /> Engineering - TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE <br /> AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON UPDATING <br /> USER FEES FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT /ADMINISTRATION, DEVELOPMENT <br /> SERVICES/PLANNING, PUBLIC WORKS/ENGINEERING, ELECTRIC UTILITY/ENGINEERING, <br /> RESOLUTION NO.
