MAYOR AND COUNCIL ORAL REPORTS AND COMMENTS Comments from Mayor, Council and City Treasurer on various issues and activities throughout the community. CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS City Manager William R. Smith expressed appreciation and gave compliments to Finance Director Stacey Dabbs and her Team, as well as the City Treasurer Aurelio De La Torre, for all of the work they put in to preparing the City's annual financial audit. The City Manager also expressed his appreciation for the City Staff members who are actively working in response to the City's unusually heavy rainfall and for those who are working to coordinate important information and get it out to the public efficiently. The City Manager Smith also reminded the City Council that the next Regular City Council Meeting will be held on February 20, 2024, and that an additional Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2024. The City Manager explained that the purpose of having this Special Meeting is to be able to give the City Council an opportunity to discuss the Water/Wastewater Fee Study, ask any questions they may have, and provide City Staff direction.
