ICI 1 SECTION 4, That Tuesday, March 2, 1965 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. • 2 in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 650 North 8th Street in the City 3, of Colton is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where Council will 4 hear protests of owners of property within the City who do not own property 5 in territory sought to be annexed. 6 SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Colton is hereby authorized 7 and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least once 8 in the Colton Courier a newspaper of general circulation published in said 9 City of Colton, the City to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid terri- 10 tory, said publication to be complete at least 4 days prior to the date set for 11 hearing, 12 SECTION 6, In the event there is, upon the land proposed to be 13 annexed to said City, a structural improvement owned, being acquired or 14 leased by a county fire protection district, the City Clerk is directed to cause 15 written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the governing body 16 of such district, such notice to be sent not less than ten (10) days before the 17 first public hearing upon such proposed annexation. 18 SECTION 7.
