1 RESOLUTION NO, 2506 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION <br /> 3 <br /> 4 <br /> OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITOR y, <br /> DESIGNATED "WEST COLTON ANNEXATION <br /> NO, 22" TO THE CITY OF COLTON, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON: <br /> 5 WHEREAS, on the 6th day of October, 1964 the Council did pass and <br /> 6 adopt Resolution No. 2499 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain unin- <br /> 7 habited territory being therein designated as "West Colton Annexation No. 22" <br /> 8 to the City of Colton, said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory <br /> 9 proposed to be annexed; and <br /> 10 WHEREAS,, said Resolution No, 2499 did contain a notice of the day, <br /> 11 hour and place when and where the Council of the City of Colton would hear <br /> 12 <br /> protests made by owners of property within the City of Colton but not within <br /> 13 <br /> the territory to be annexed, the time of said hearing to be not more than 30 <br /> 14 <br /> days after passage of said resolution, (Section 35310. 1GC) and <br /> 15 <br /> WHEREAS, at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of October, 1964 <br /> 16 <br /> at 7: 30 p,.m,., in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located at 650 North <br /> 17 <br /> 8th Street in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, <br /> 18 said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in Resolution No. 2499 <br /> 19 <br /> for hearing protests to said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass <br /> 20 <br /> on all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that <br /> 21 <br /> sufficient protests have not been made by the owners of property within the <br /> 22 <br /> City who do not own property in the territory proposed to be annexed, and <br /> 23 <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton and is <br /> 24 <br /> uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; <br /> 25 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,, the said Council of the City of Colton does hereby <br /> 26 <br /> approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described, to the City of <br /> 27 <br /> Colton and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby <br /> 28 <br /> annexed to the City of Colton. <br /> 29 <br /> That the said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Colton <br /> 30 <br /> is hereby approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San <br /> 31 <br /> Bernardino, State of California more particularly described as follows: <br /> 32 <br />
