jl <br /> I <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2590 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED <br /> 3 "WEST COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 23" TO THE <br /> CITY OF COLTON. <br /> 4 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON: <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, on the 20th day of July, 1965 the Council did pass <br /> 6 <br /> and adopt Resolution No. 2586, giving notice of the proposal to <br /> 7 <br /> annex certain uninhabited territory being therein designated as <br /> 8 <br /> "West Colton Annexation No. 23 " to the City of Colton, said <br /> 9 <br /> Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed <br /> 10 <br /> to be annexed; and <br /> 11 <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution 2586 did contain a notice of the <br /> 12 <br /> day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City of <br /> 13 <br /> Colton would hear protests made by owners of property within <br /> 14 <br /> the City of Colton but not within the territory sought to be <br /> 15 <br /> annexed, the time of said hearing to be not more than thirty (30) <br /> 16 <br /> days after passage of said Resolution. (Section 35310.1 GC) and <br /> 17 <br /> WHEREAS, at a regular meeting held August 3, 1965 at 7 :30 p.m. <br /> 18 <br /> in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located at 650 North <br /> 19 <br /> 8th Street in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State <br /> 20 <br /> of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place <br /> 21 <br /> fixed in Resolution No. 2586 for hearing protests to said <br /> 22 <br /> annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass on all protests <br /> 23 <br /> made to the proposed annexation and did determine that sufficient <br /> 24 <br /> protests have not been made by the owners of property within the <br /> 25 <br /> City who do not own property in the territory proposed to be <br /> 26 <br /> annexed, and <br /> 27 <br /> 28 WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton <br /> and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; <br /> 29. <br /> 30 NOW, THEREFORE: the said Council of the City of Colton does <br /> i <br /> 31 hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter describe. <br /> 32 to the City of Colton and does further ordain that said territory <br /> 1 <br />
