R-23-24 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> 3 ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,148.63 FROM THE <br /> BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE, BULLETPROOF VEST <br /> 4 PARTNERSHIP FY2022 AWARD, AND AMEND THE FISCAL BUDGET <br /> 2023-2024 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br /> 2023 and ending June 30, 2024 was approved and adopted; and <br /> 7 <br /> 8 WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br /> City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br /> 9 <br /> to WHEREAS, On September 21, 2022 The Bureau of Justice Assistance Bulletproof Vest <br /> Partnership FY2022 awarded a grant to the Colton Police Department in the amount of <br /> 11 $4,148.63. <br /> 12 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,DETERMINED,AND ORDERED BY THE <br /> 13 CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DISTRICT,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 14 Section 1. Approval of Resolution R-23-24 will amend the FY2023-24 budget to accept <br /> and spend the grant as follows: <br /> 15 <br /> 16 1. Increase revenues in Misc. Grant Fund Revenue Account#225-5892-022 by <br /> $4,148.63. <br /> 17 2. Increase appropriations in the Misc. Grant Expenditure Account#225-6070-7005- <br /> 1180-0000-022 in the amount of$4,148.63. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Section 2.
