1 RESOLUTION NO. 2586 2 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXA- 3 TION TO THE CITY OF COLTON OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIB ED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED 4 "WEST COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 23" AND GNING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF 5 PROTESTS THERETO. 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: 7 SECTION 1 . That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of 8 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 (Special procedure under Section 35310 .1 9 Government Code) a petition signed by the owners of all the land in the here- 10 11 inafter described territory was filed with the City of Colton requesting annexa- 12 tion of the following described territory to the City of Colton. 13 SECTION 2 . That the territory which the petitioner is proposing to 14 annex to the City of Colton is situate in the County of San Bernardino, State 15 of California, hereby designated "West Colton Annexation No. 23" and 16 described as follows: 17 Those portions of Lots 168, 181, 184, 197, 200 and 213 of the 18 Town of Rialto and Adjoining Subdivisions , Township 1 South, 19 Range 5 West, as shown by plat recorded in Book 4 of Maps , Page 11, Records of San Bernardino County, State of California, 20 and more particularly describ ed as follows: 21 Beginning at the centerline intersections of Colton Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenue, as said streets are shown on said plat, said 22 intersections being a point in the corporate boundary of the City 23 of Colton; thence south 89°50' 25" east along said centerline of Colton Avenue and along said Colton Boundary line a distance of 24 660 feet to the east line of the west half of Lot 213 , prolonged southerly; thence north, leaving the Colton boundary line parallel 25 to the centerline of Eucalyptus Avenue, 60 feet wide, a distance of 3960 feet, more or less, along the east lines of the west half 26 of Lots 213 , 200, 197, 184, 181 and 168 to the north line of said 27 Lot 168, said north line being the corporate boundary line of the City of Colton; thence west along said north line of Lot 168, and 28 along said Colton boundary line, a distance of 660 feet to the centerline of said Eucalyptus Avenue; thence south along said 29 centerline, said centerline being also the City of Colton boundary line, a distance of 3960 feet, more or less, to the Point of 30 Beginning. 31 SECTION 3 .
