11 RESOLUTION NO. 2579 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION OF THE COLTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR <br /> 3 OF PUBLJC WORKS ON COST OF ABATING <br /> NUISANCE, , <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California did on <br /> 5 <br /> the 16th day of March, 1965 pass and adopt a resolution declaring that certain <br /> 6 weeds growing upon the streets or sidewalks or upon private property within <br /> 7 the City oz Colton to be a public nuisance and ordered to be abated by said <br /> 8 City Council; <br /> 9 WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 39567. 1 of the Government <br /> 10 Code, State of California, the City Clerk of the City of Colton cause notices <br /> 11 of the proposed abatement to be mailed to all the owners of the property shown <br /> 12 on the assessment roll of the County of San Bernardino, and <br /> 13 WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets has caused said weeds, rub- <br /> 14 bish, refuse or dirt to be removed from said property and the nuisance abated <br /> 15 and has caused a report of the cost of said removal to be filed with the City <br /> 16 Council; and <br /> 17 WHEREAS, a copy of said report has been posted in the time and <br /> 18 manner required by law and a hearing on this report was set for the hour of <br /> 19 7:30 o'clock p.m. on the 6th day of July, 1965 at which time all property <br /> 20 owners having any objections to make to said report might be heard concern- <br /> 21 ing same; and <br /> 22 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that property owners have not made <br /> 23 sufficient protests or objections to said report, or to the cost of abating said <br /> 24 nuisance, either in whole or in part, <br /> 25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> 26 THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 27 1. That said report of the Director of Public Works be and the same <br /> 28 is hereby confirmed, adopted and approved by the said City Council and the <br /> 29 cost of abating the said nuisance on each separate lot and parcel of land as <br /> 30 set forth in said report is hereby made a lien upon each separate lot or parcel_ <br /> 31 of land on which said cost was incurred, <br /> 32 <br />
