1 RESOLUTION NO, 2577 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION <br /> OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, <br /> 3 DESIGNATED "SOUTH COLTON ANNEXATION <br /> NO,, 17" TO THE CITY OF COLTON. <br /> 4 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON: <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, on the rah day of June, 1965 the Council did pass and adopt <br /> 6 <br /> Resolution No, 2573 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited <br /> 7 <br /> territory being therein designated as "South Colton Annexation No. 17" to <br /> 8 <br /> the City of Colton, said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory <br /> 9 <br /> proposed to be annexed; and <br /> 10 <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2573 did contain a notice of the day, <br /> 11 <br /> hour and place when and where the Council of the City of Colton would hear <br /> 12 <br /> protests made by owners of property within the City of Colton but not within <br /> 13 <br /> the territory to be annexed, the time of said hearing to be not more than 30 <br /> 14 <br /> days after passage of said resolution. (Section 35310,1GC) and <br /> 15 <br /> WHEREAS, at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of July, 1965 at <br /> 16 <br /> 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located at 650 North <br /> 17 <br /> 8th Street in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, <br /> 18 <br /> said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in Resolution No 2573 <br /> 19 <br /> for hearing protests to said annexation, the said City Council did hear and <br /> 20 <br /> pass on all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that <br /> 21 <br /> sufficient protests have not been made by the owners of property within the <br /> 22 <br /> City who do not own property in the territory proposed to be annexed, and <br /> 23 <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton and is <br /> 24 <br /> uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; <br /> 25 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Colton does hereby <br /> 26 <br /> approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described, to the City of <br /> 27 <br /> Colton and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby <br /> 28 <br /> annexed to the City of Colton. <br /> 29 <br /> That the said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Colton <br /> 30 <br /> is hereby approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Bernal... <br /> 31 <br /> dino, State of California more particularly described as follows: <br /> 32 <br />
