1 RESOLUTION NO. 2635 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 WHEREAS, it would appear to be to the best interests of <br /> all entities taking water from the Santa Ana River System to <br /> 4 <br /> 5 have the gates at Prado Dam closed; and <br /> 6 WHEREAS, the United States Corps of Engineers has indicated <br /> 7 that the closing of the gates must await the determination of <br /> 8 various water right issues ; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, it would appear to be to the best interests of <br /> 10 all concerned to agree on immediate closure, and water issues <br /> 11 be subject to future determination of water rights . <br /> 12 BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> 13 City of Colton that the United States Corps of Engineers is <br /> 14 hereby urged to close said gates immediately without prejudice <br /> 15 to any water right issues . <br /> 16 PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of December, 1965 . <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Mayor <br /> 19 ATTEST: <br /> 20 City Clerk <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
