That the City Council of Colton does hereby declare 7 its intention to order the abandonment of that portion of Acacia Street in the $ City of Colton bounded by the following described lines to-wit: 9 Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 31 of. Colton Orange 10 Villa Tract, as per plat recorded in Book 18 of Maps, page 28, 11 records of San Bernardino County, thence southerly along an 12 extension_ of the westerly line of said Lot 31 to the south line 13 of Acacia Street as it now exists, thence easterly to the 14 westerly line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right 15 of way, thence in a northerly direction along the westerly line 16 of said right of way to the southeast corner of Lot 25 of said 17 Tract, thence westerly to the point of beginning ("subject 18 property"). 19 For further particulars as to the proposed abandonment reference 20 is hereby made to the map on file in the Office of the City Clerk of Colton, 21 California. 22 Section 2. That the hour of 4:3O p.m. on the 23rd day of 23 December, 1965, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Colton, California 24 be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all 25 persons interested in or objecting to the proposed abandonment may appear 26 before the City Council. 27 Section 3. That Daniel H. Burnett, Jr., City Engineer of the 28 City of Colton, is hereby directed to cause "Notice of Street Vacation" to be 291 posted as required by law. 30 Section 4.
