Adopt a Resolution to Enter into a Tax-exempt Lease <br />Page 2 <br />July 2, 2001 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the City Council adopt the attached resolution to enter into a tax-exempt lease to provide <br />financing for the acquisition of a triple combination fire truck, three dump trucks and a survey truck in an <br />estimated principal amount of approximately $458,626 and authorize the City Manager, Finance Director or the <br />Treasurer to sign documents and negotiate any final terms with regard to the lease and to take any and all <br />other actions necessary to complete the transaction and acquire the equipment. <br />Report prepared by Mary J.
