<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />COLTON APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM B -P
<br />(BUSINESS PARK) TO I -P (INDUSTRIAL PARK) FOR
<br />CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF COLTON
<br />WHEREAS, the Colton Community Development Department filed an
<br />application on May 3, 2001, File Index No. DGZ-35-01, requesting a change of zone B -P
<br />(Business Park) to I -P (Industrial Park) ("Application") for certain property located north and
<br />south of Fairway Drive, between San Bernardino County Flood Control, east to Colton city
<br />limits (Assessor Parcel No's. 164-181-08. 09, Portion of 12, 164-182-38, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48,
<br />51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 164-201-01, 02, 06, 08, 09, 164-202-09, 35, 46, 49, 50, 51, 52, 164-
<br />281-01, 02, Portion of 9, Portion of 11) ("Subject Site") in the City of Colton, County of San
<br />Bernardino;
<br />WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found to comply with the
<br />California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") as more fully described below;
<br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 2001, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton
<br />("Planning Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which
<br />time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the
<br />Application was fully studied;
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending
<br />approval of this Zone Change to the City Council;
<br />WHEREAS, on August 7, 2001, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City
<br />Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons
<br />wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application was fully
<br />examined; and
