(10-85) <br /> 1965 <br /> WAGE SCALES FOR THE SIX BASIC TRADES <br /> The wage rates listed below are in accordance with the terms of the <br /> Southern California Master Labor Agreement for the Construction Industry and <br /> cover the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, <br /> Imperial,Ventura,Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo,Kern,Inyo and Mono. <br /> ADDITIONAL COST ITEMS: For Subsistence Allowance, Transportation and <br /> Travel Time Allowance, Apprentice Program Contributions, Industry Promo- <br /> tional Funds, etc., contact the Local Union or its District Council having <br /> jurisdiction. <br /> RIGGERS and WELDERS FOR THE SIX BASIC TRADES: Same wage <br /> scales as crafts to which rigging and welding are incidental. <br /> CARPENTERS <br /> Health &Welfare-18¢per hour <br /> Pension-25¢per hour;300-5/1/66 <br /> Vacation-15¢ per hour <br /> Foreman: Receives not less than 50¢ per hour more than the hourly rate of <br /> the highest classification over which he has responsibility, except <br /> "Pneumatic Nailer." <br /> The Union may elect at its option upon sixty days' written notice, prior <br /> to May 1, 1966 or May 1, 1967, to allocate during the two-year period up to <br /> a maximum of 10¢ per hour out of the following listed amounts to each of <br /> the Health and Welfare and Vacation funds: <br /> 24¢-5/1/66 <br /> 29¢-5/1/67 <br /> Carpenter 6/1/65 <br /> Shingler $4.64 <br /> Hardwood Floor Worker 4.77 <br /> Millwright 4.84 <br /> Saw Filer 4.84 <br /> Table Power Saw Operator 4.72 <br /> Pile Driver Foreman 4.74 <br /> Pile Driver Man—Bridge or Dock Carpenter & Cable S licer 4.77 <br /> Pile Driver Man—Derrick Bargeman p 4.77 <br /> Head Rockslinger 4.77 <br /> Rock Slinger 4.87 <br /> Rock Bargeman or Scowman 4.67 <br /> Pneumatic Nailer 4.57 <br /> 4.89 <br /> Men working from a swinging scaffold, or suspended from a rope or cable, <br /> shall receive 25¢per hour above the applicable Journeyman or Apprentice rate. <br /> CEMENT MASONS <br /> Health and Welfare-20¢per hour;25¢-5/1/66 <br /> Pension-25¢per hour;30¢-5/1/66 <br /> Vacation-15¢per hour;200-5/1/66; 25¢-5/1/67 <br /> Foreman: When three or more Cement Masons are employed on a job, one <br /> shall be employed as a Foreman and shall receive not less than 50¢ <br /> per hour more than the highest classification over which he has <br /> leadership. <br /> Cement Mason 6/1/65 5/1/66 5/1/67 <br /> Cement Mason, chipping & patching $4.46 $4.60 $4.84 <br /> 4.46 4.60 4.84 <br /> Curb Form & Plank Setter, including setting of <br /> lines, stakes and grades 4.46 4.60 <br /> Screed Setter, including screed pins 4.46 4.60 4.84 <br /> 4.84 <br />
