1 RESOLUTION NO. 2617 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> 3 COLTON DESIGNATING THE UNNAMED STREET LOCATED <br /> ON THE NORTH SIDE OF COLTON MUNICIPAL PARK <br /> 4 BETWEEN MT. VERNON AVENUE AND COLTON AVENUE <br /> AS CARREON DRIVE. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 I WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, of the City of Colton has heretofore <br /> 7 submitted its recommendation to establish a street located on the north side of <br /> 8 <br /> the Municipal Park between Mt. Vernon Avenue and Colton Avenue,said street to <br /> 9 <br /> be known as Carreon Drive, and <br /> 10 <br /> 11 WHEREAS* the Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing on the <br /> 12 proposal to designate said street as Carreon Drive and <br /> 13 WHEREAS, at said Public Hearing there were no protests or objections to <br /> 14 the proposal, and <br /> 15 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is of the opinion that <br /> 16 <br /> it would be for the best interests of the City of Colton that the same be <br /> 17 <br /> accomplished, <br /> 18 <br /> 19 NOW THEREFORE., it is resolved by the City Council of the City of Colton <br /> 20 that the following street set forth hereinafter shall be and it is hereby named <br /> 21 as stated herein. <br /> 22 The unnamed street located on the North side of the Colton Municipal <br /> 23 Park between Colton Avenue and Mt. Vernon Avenue is hereby designated as <br /> 24 <br /> "Carreon Drive" in the City of Colton. <br /> 25 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is hereby <br /> 26 <br /> 27 authorized to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the <br /> 28 County of San Bernardino as provided in Section 34092, Government Code of the <br /> 29 State of California. <br /> 30 PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2nd d of November, 1965 <br /> 31 glfze;1 \--- <br /> 32 ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br />
