PARTIES AND DATE <br />This Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement ("Second <br />Amendment") dated as of the 4th day of April, 2006 is entered into by and between the <br />City of Colton ("City") and Kwang Cook and Associates, Inc. ("Consultant/Architect"). <br />ARTICLE 2. RECITALS <br />2.1 City and Consultant entered into that certain Professional Services <br />Agreement dated March 8th, 2004 ("Agreement"), whereby Consultant agreed to provide <br />the City with professional architectural services for the City Hall Renovation ("Project"); <br />the City and Consultant entered into that certain Professional Services First Amendment <br />to the Agreement dated September 27th, 2004, whereby Consultant agreed to provide the <br />City with professional architectural services for Phase II of the Project. <br />2.2 City and Consultant now desire to amend the Agreement to revise the <br />Scope of Services to include engaging Consultant's professional architectural services for <br />Phase III thru VIII of Project; Phase III (teller area), Phase IV (PD Waiting Area), Phase <br />V (Accounting Area), Phase VI (East Entrance), Phase VII (City Manager Area) and <br />-Phase VIII (City Clerk Area). As a result of the extended scope of services the City and <br />Consultant also desire to increase the amount of compensation b:y a not to exceed amount <br />of Fifty Thousand Dollars and no cents ($50,000). <br />ARTICLE 3. TERMS <br />3.1 Section 3.10.1 of the Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirety and <br />replaced with a new Section 3. 10.1 to read as follows: <br />
