R-56-24,R-57- 24, & R-58-24. (13) Set Public Hearing - Stormwater Fee - Set the Public Hearing Date of July 16, 2024 for the Basic Fee for Storm Water Services and Stormwater Management User Fee. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ORAL REPORTS AND COMMENTS Comments from Mayor, Council and City Treasurer on various issues and activities throughout the community. CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS City Manager William R. Smith took time to publicly acknowledged Fire Chief Tim McHargue and to thank him for his service to the city. Smith expressed his deep appreciation for Chief McHargue and described the positive impact that he has had on the executive team and how much he will be missed. Smith described the legacy that Chief McHargue he has and thanked him for his service. Fire Chief Tim McHargue invited Fire Marshall Jon Boggs to speak to council about what the Fire Department is doing in preparation for the Fourth of July. Fire Marshall Boggs gave a brief report on what steps have been taken and how they are coordinating efforts to decrease the number of illegal fireworks in the city of Colton.
