1 boundaries of said East Colton Annexation No. 25 to the <br /> 2 City of Colton. <br /> 3 ' Section 4. That Tuesday, May 3, 1966 at the hour of <br /> 4 7 :30 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, <br /> 5 650 North 8th Street in the City of Colton is hereby fixed <br /> 6 as the time and place when and where Council will hear protests <br /> 7 of owners of property within the City who do not own property <br /> 8 in territory sought to be annexed. <br /> 9 Section 5 . The City Clerk of the City of Colton is <br /> 10 hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this resolution <br /> 11 to be published at least once in the Colton Courier, a <br /> 12 newspaper of general circulation published in said City of <br /> 13 Colton, the City to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid <br /> 14 territory, said publication to be complete at least 4 days <br /> 15 prior to the date set for hearing. <br /> 16 Section 6. In the event there is, upon the land proposed to <br /> 17 be annexed to said City, a structural improvement owned, being <br /> 18 acquired or leased by a County Fire protection district, the <br /> 19 City Clerk is directed to cause written notice of such proposed <br /> 20 annexation to be mailed to the governing body of such district, <br /> 21 such notice to be sent not less than ten (10) days before the <br /> 22 first public hearing upon such proposed annexation. <br /> 23 Section 7 . The City Clerk is directed to cause written <br /> 24 notice to be given to such other persons as may be legally <br /> 25 entitled thereto in the manner required by law. <br /> 26 Adopted this 5th day of April, 1966, by the following <br /> 27 vote: <br /> 28 AYES: Councilmen Coltrin, Holtzendorff, Kaney, Oliva, Spragins <br /> 29 NOES: Councilmen None l <br /> 30 ABSENT: Councilmen None ( <br /> 31 'OHN M.
