CITY COUNCIL/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING MINUTES August 20, 2024 Closed Session Meeting held on the above given date at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber of City Hall, with Mayor Navarro presiding. CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were Council Members Toro, Chastain, Gonzalez, Mayor Pro Tem Echevarria, and Mayor Navarro. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION & POSSIBLE INITIATION OF LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d) (1) And Government Code Section 54956.9(d) (4) In re Smart Earth Technologies LLC et al U.S, Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Case No. 23-11866(KBO) And One Potential Case: City of Colton, et al. v. SET/Water IT LLC/Antonio Cabrera, President: Breach of Contract Claims C. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1) City of Colton et al. v. Inland Memorial Inc. Cremation and Burial Society Inc.; Inland Memorial Inc. San Bernardino Superior Court, Case No. CIVSB2300169 Mayor Navarro adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:01 p.m. and at 6:00 p.m., the meeting reconvened with all members being present.
