Flew numerous <br />missions on board BI 7, B24, B25, and B26 Bombers. <br />1945 Honorably discharged as Master Sergeant: Chief officer in charge <br />of the Southwest Pacific Radio Communications Operations. <br />May 20, 1949 Fidel Hernandez American Legion Post 754 established. <br />Pascual Oliva Co-founder and elected Commander. <br />1959-1966 Colton City Council member <br />1966-1968 (1" Hispanic) Mayor of Colton <br />Circa 1969-1980 Served as Constable for the Colton Justice Court (I1 years) <br />Timeline of Events Leading nn to the Dedication Ceremony of the N Street <br />Underpass <br />(Circa 1959) <br />(Circa 1963) <br />Oct. 1964 <br />Sept. 14, 1968 <br />Starting around 1959, Pascual Oliva had a measure put on the <br />ballot twice for an underpass at N street. It failed both times. <br />6 -year-old Irene Frances Yzaguirre died after being hit by a train <br />at the proposed site. <br />voters approved Ballot measure for the underpass. <br />Underpass Completion Ceremony Pascual Oliva served as the <br />Master of Ceremonies. <br />
