Schedule G-3 <br />CONTRACT SERVICE <br />APPLICABILITY <br />Applicable to General Service customers whose monthly demand has exceeded 150 kW in four consecutive months <br />during the preceding twelve months. If no billing history is available, total connected lighting and equipment load must <br />be 225 kW or greater. This rate schedule is also applicable to customers who meet eligibility requirements prior to <br />installation of measures included in the Utility's demand side management programs. <br />RATES <br />Specific formulas and rates shall be set forth in the service contract on file with the City Clerk and approved <br />by City Council. Rates shall be designed to meet the calculated revenue requirements for the contract <br />customer. Revenue requirements shall be based on the actual cost to serve the customer including, but not <br />limited to, all power costs, operating and maintenance expenses, administrative and general costs, and <br />applicable payments in lieu of taxes. <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />1. ECONOMIC EVALUATION <br />At an applicable customer's request, the Utility and the customer will jointly perform economic <br />analyses of the contract service. Contract Service will commence only after the Utility and the <br />customer agree on the terms and conditions set forth in the contract and that contract is <br />approved by City Council. <br />2. CONTRACT <br />Each customer served under Schedule G-3 shall sign a service contract with the City specifying the terms and <br />conditions for electric service. Such contracts shall be for a period of not less than one year nor greater than five <br />years. <br />3. ADDITIONAL LOAD <br />Substantial electric load, added by a customer on Schedule G-3 not covered in the Economic Evaluation, shall have that load billed at Schedule <br />rOU.
