La Cadena Drive <br />Colton CA 92324 <br />Telephone Federal ID No. or Social Security No. <br />(909) 370-5099 <br />IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />hereinafter called: CITY <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY desires to provide financial assistance to the CITY to install and <br />improve sidewalks on Laurel Street from the end of Laurel Street easterly to Rancho Avenue <br />(hereinafter referred to as PROJECT -1); and install a pedestrian warning beacon light at 955 West <br />Laurel Street to service Paul Rogers Elementary School (hereinafter referred to as PROJECT -2); <br />and, hereinafter PROJECT —1 and PROJECT -2 are jointly and severally referred to as PROJECTS; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the PROJECTS will be of mutual benefit to the COUNTY and CITY; and <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY will contribute $300,000 toward the installation and improvement of <br />sidewalks (PROJECT -1); and will contribute an additional $200,000 toward the installation of a <br />pedestrian warning beacon light (PROJECT -2).
