La Cadena Drive Colton CA 92324 Telephone Federal ID No. or Social Security No. (909) 370-5099 IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: hereinafter called: CITY WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the COUNTY desires to provide financial assistance to the CITY to install and improve sidewalks on Laurel Street from the end of Laurel Street easterly to Rancho Avenue (hereinafter referred to as PROJECT -1); and install a pedestrian warning beacon light at 955 West Laurel Street to service Paul Rogers Elementary School (hereinafter referred to as PROJECT -2); and, hereinafter PROJECT —1 and PROJECT -2 are jointly and severally referred to as PROJECTS; and WHEREAS, the PROJECTS will be of mutual benefit to the COUNTY and CITY; and WHEREAS, the COUNTY will contribute $300,000 toward the installation and improvement of sidewalks (PROJECT -1); and will contribute an additional $200,000 toward the installation of a pedestrian warning beacon light (PROJECT -2).
