Soto, Planning Manager <br />SUBJECT: Revised Draft Environmental Impact Report (RDEIR) and <br />Response to Comments for the Pacific Rail Industries Metal <br />Shredding Operation Project; For City Council Public Hearing <br />Meeting, .July 18, 2006. <br />DATE: <br />July 10, 2006 <br />Attached for your information and distribution to the Mayor and City Council and the <br />City Manager are copies of the Revised Draft Environmental Impact Report (RDEIR) <br />and the, Response to Comments (RTC) for the Pacific Rail Industries Metal Shredding <br />Operation Project. The RDEIR and the RTC were considered and "Certified" by the <br />Calton Planning Commission on June 13, 2006. Collectively the two documents serve <br />as the Final Re -circulated Environmental Impact Report (FREIR). <br />As both of you are aware, HUGO Neu West d.b.a. Colton Iron and Metal filed an appeal <br />to the Commission approval of the Pacific Rail project. The appeal is scheduled for a <br />Public Hearing by the City Council on July 18, 2006.
