R-05-25 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />BUDGET FOR RANCHO AVENUE PAVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized <br />and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic <br />safety and infrastructure; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton and the County of San Bernardino planned to jointly <br />improved segment of Rancho Ave. south of Valley Blvd.; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton needs to provide funds from Host City Fee in the <br />amount of $180,000 to fully fund the City of Colton matching fund for design, <br />environmental and construction of the Rancho Ave. Pavement Improvement Project <br />(Project); and, <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2024/2025 budget <br />is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL FOR THE DISTRICT, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The above recitals are true and correct. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year <br />2024/2025 budget: <br />• Appropriate $180,000 from reserve balance in Host City Fee to account number <br />240-2513-6150-3890-0000-000 for the construction of Rancho Ave. Pavement <br />Improvement Project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 4TH DAYQF MARCH 2O25. <br />ATTEST: <br />ity Clerk <br />IL <br />FR1ZT!M.
