R-18-25 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 BUDGET TO <br />APPROPRIATE AN ADDITIONAL $1,500,000 FROM THE WATER UTILITY <br />RESERVE FUND FOR THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT WELL 22 <br />REHABILITATION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); and <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the Fiscal Year 2024-25 has been approved by City Council, <br />and now must be amended to increase the appropriation in the Public Works Water Utility <br />Division, Capital Improvement Account for the Well 22 Rehabilitation Project; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to improve and rehabilitate pump, motor, shaft, bowl <br />assembly, and site improvements of the City's Well No. 22 located at E. Sugar Pine Lane; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton: <br />Section 1 The above recitals are true and correct. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal <br />Year 2024/2025 budget: <br />• Appropriate $1,500,000 from the reserve balance in the Water Utility Fund to <br />Water Utility Operations Capital Improvement account number 521-8100- <br />8101-3890-0000-000 for the Well 22 Rehabilitation Project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DA OF MARCH 2O25 <br />NAVARRO <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />1�;7 <br />IS C T.
