R-09-25 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />BUDGET FOR COLTON AVENUE CLASS I BIKE PATH IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized <br />and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic <br />safety and infrastructure; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton plans to improve the Colton Avenue Class I Bike <br />Path; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton needs to provide funds from Host City Fee in the <br />amount of $205,000.00 to fully fund the City of Colton matching fund for construction of <br />the Colton Avenue Class I Bike Path Improvement Project (Project); and, <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2024/2025 budget <br />is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL FOR THE DISTRICT, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The above recitals are true and correct. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year <br />2024/2025 budget. - <br />Appropriate $205,000.00 from reserve balance in Host City Fee to account <br />number 240-6235-6150-3890-0000 for the construction of Colton Avenue Class <br />I Bike Path Improvement Project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18TH DAY OF M,' RqH 2O25. <br />ATTEST: <br />I SAAC T.
