R-16-25 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMMOUNT OF $14,391 FROM THE <br />2024 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT <br />(JAG) AND AMEND THE 2024/2025 FISCAL BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On December 4, 2024 the 2024 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice <br />Assistance Grant was awarded by the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) to the Colton <br />Police Department in the amount of $14,391 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINED AND <br />ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Colton, California, as follows: <br />Section 1. Approval of Resolution R-16-25 will: <br />1. Amend FY 2024/25 Budget to increase revenues in Misc. Grant Fund <br />Revenue Account #225-5890-013 by $14,391. <br />2. Amend the FY 2024/25 Budget to increase appropriations in the Misc. <br />Grant Expenditure Account #225-6070-7004-1180-0000-013 in the <br />amount of $14,391. <br />Section 2.
