The proclamation was presented to Chris Rymer, who is the City <br />of Colton's Early Child Education Program Director. <br />• Proclamation - Child Abuse Prevention Month <br />Mayor Navarro read a proclamation declaring April 2025 "Child Abuse Prevention Month." <br />The proclamation was presented to Hillary Steenson-Ray, who is the Associate Network <br />Officer for the Children's Network, <br />Special Recognition — Woman's History Month "Shero" Award —Stephanie M. Vargas <br />Mayor Navarro recognized Chief Deputy City Clerk, Stephanie M. Vargas, who was recently <br />selected and recognized as a "Shero," in honor of Woman's History Month, by San <br />Bernardino County Supervisor, for the Fifth District, Joe Baca Jr.. Mayor Navarro offered <br />congratulations to Mrs. Vargas and acknowledged the value that she brings to the City of <br />Colton. <br />
